Here at Nolasfinest, we believe that every great dish starts with love.  Our love for fresh, local ingredients and cooking delicious meals tailored to fit our clients taste, lifestyle and budget is the ultimate key to our success.  Our goal is to make each of our clients' experience memorable by providing exquisite food and superb customer service.

  • Events may be reserved as early as six months ahead.

  • We will make every effort to accommodate date changes. All new dates must be scheduled within six months of the original booking. Date‑change requests received within 5 days of the event will forfeit the reserved date unless due to an act of God, government mandate, or critical illness.

  • If your event is happening within the next six months, go ahead and lock in your date—there’s no such thing as booking too early.

  • A half pan typically serves 12–14 guests, while a full pan provides 24–28 generous portions. Actual serving counts may vary based on your full menu and the size of the plate or bowl used.

  • We do not rent our Stainless-Steel chafers or soup tureens. We highly suggest checking with your local party rental company. True Value Rental is our preferred vendor for party rentals.

    *Reusable aluminum racks with chafing fuel may be purchased from us at a cost of $14 per set.

  • A non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the total is required to secure the date. The remaining balance is due 5 days prior to the date of the event, unless otherwise specified.

  • We are a full-service Personal Chef & Catering company. We offer private dining events for two as well as large-scale corporate events.

  • We kindly request that any modifications be submitted at least 5 days before your event date.

  • We will make every effort to accommodate any increases submitted within 5 days of your event. Please note that once your deposit is received, reductions in quantities or guest counts cannot be made.

  • For liability and quality assurance reasons, our attendants are not permitted to serve food or beverages provided by outside parties.

  • While those items aren’t included, they may be added on for an additional charge.

  • If needed, we can provide cake‑cutting services at an additional cost.

  • Tastings are available and generally include a 2–3 course meal for pickup. Pricing is determined by the menu selections requested. Should you complete your booking within 24 hours of the tasting, 50% of the tasting fee will be credited to your final invoice.

  • Absolutely. We offer on‑site preparation for specialty experiences such as Seafood Boils, Fish Fries, and BBQ.

  • To ensure safe and efficient transport of our food and equipment, special provisions are required. Events held on upper floors may incur additional labor and logistical considerations.

  • Please notify us in advance of any allergies. We will gladly work with you to accommodate all allergies and dietary restrictions.

  • Travel services are available, with additional fees for locations beyond our standard service area.

Born and raised in Kenner, Louisiana, Chef Melody was raised in a home where the food was as great as the love among family and friends.  Melody’s mother was an incredible cook who undoubtedly helped cultivate her interest in the kitchen.   After working in the logistics industry for several years, she decided to answer her heart’s call and began catering small events for friends and former colleagues.

In 2015, she and her husband, Antoine, partnered to officially launch Nolasfinest Personal Chef Service. Chef Melody’s dishes have been widely sought after for events by corporate giants such as Union Carbide and Ochsner.  In 2018, she was also selected as one of the recipients of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation’s Catapult Fund.  The knowledge gleaned from that experience helped to develop her personal identity in the culinary field as well as the direction of the company, collectively.  Chef Mel was also honored to be chosen as one of 2020’s Best Chef’s of Louisiana by the American Chef Federation.

Melody believes her life’s work is to ultimately translate her passion for serving others through her inventive culinary creations…each prepared with locally sourced ingredients and heaping amounts of love.

Nolasfinest is currently on par to become the gold standard for corporate and special event catering and Chef Melody is elated to be at the helm on this amazing journey.
